Why have a research coach?
All PhD students will be allocated a supervisor to guide them along their first research journey.
For some people their supervisor meets all their needs, but some researchers find they need some additional support on their journey.
Also after your PhD you are unlikely to have a personal coach or mentor to help your ongoing development as a researcher and support you to navigate the complex research environment.
We provide specialist research coaching, based on lived experience as expert researchers and supervisors. We are passionate, committed individuals who believe in the benefits of good quality research disseminated widely. We can help you meet your research aspirations!
Coaching typically takes place once per month in a one hour scheduled meeting with the learner submitting materials such as writing for review and the research coaching providing constructive feedback and action planning.
